Community care
Clear boundaries,
human rules.
Aurelune should feel welcoming because people treat one another well—not because difficult behaviour is ignored. These guidelines explain the standard we share.
Treat people with respect
Harassment, discrimination, bullying, dogpiling and deliberately hostile behaviour have no place in Aurelune. Disagree without making another person feel unsafe or unwelcome.
Respect personal boundaries
Pay attention when someone says no or seems uncomfortable. Unwanted flirting, repeated advances and pressure for personal details or attention are not acceptable.
Keep public spaces comfortable
Public Aurelune spaces should be welcoming to the whole community. Do not post explicit sexual content or engage in ERP there. Read the room, and keep humour considerate.
Protect privacy
Do not share someone else’s personal information, images or private messages without permission. Doxxing, stalking and malicious rumours will be treated seriously.
Use channels appropriately
Keep conversations broadly relevant to the channel. Avoid spam, repeated self-promotion and taking over another person’s event or activity to promote your own.
Be considerate about spoilers
Use spoiler formatting and follow channel guidance for recent story and patch content. Give other players time to experience FFXIV at their own pace.
Follow Discord and FFXIV rules
Do not use Aurelune for real-money trading, cheating, scams, malicious downloads or other prohibited activity. Discord’s terms and the FINAL FANTASY XIV User Agreement still apply.
Handle problems privately
If something serious happens, report it privately to staff with whatever context you can provide. Public call-outs often make situations harder to resolve fairly.
Moderation approach
Staff will listen, consider context and respond proportionately. A reminder or conversation may resolve a minor issue; serious misconduct may result in immediate removal. Staff are subject to the same rules as everyone else.
Final note
These rules cannot describe every situation. Their purpose is simple: help Aurelune remain a place where people feel comfortable, respected and glad to return.
