Aurelune is being built for players who want a community that feels worth returning to. Our aim is to create a welcoming place where people know one another, enjoy relaxed content together and can join in at their own pace.
We want to be organised without feeling corporate, stylish without feeling exclusive, and connected to Light’s social scene without allowing it to define the whole community.

The beginning
Building Aurelune properly
Aurelune is currently in its preparation period. The public Discord, website and social profiles are now live while the FC’s in-game foundations and first event plans are completed before public recruitment begins.
We are intentionally starting small. That gives new connections room to become real friendships—and gives us time to build the community with care.

Interested in being there at the beginning?
Recruitment is not yet open, but the Aurelune Discord is now open to visitors while we complete preparations for the in-game FC. You are welcome to join, follow our progress and get a feel for the community before launch.
Joining the Discord before launch does not commit you to joining the in-game FC.

Frequently asked questions
01 Who is Aurelune for?
Aurelune is for new, returning and experienced players who want a welcoming social community alongside relaxed FFXIV activities.
02 Do I need to be on Raiden?
You need a character on Raiden to join the in-game Free Company. Players from elsewhere on Light may still join the Discord, attend suitable events and get to know the community.
03 Is voice chat required?
No. Voice chat is always optional unless a particular activity explicitly requires communication, and alternatives will be explained in advance.
04 Is event attendance mandatory?
No. Aurelune will not have attendance quotas or punish people for having work, family commitments or other interests.
05 Is Aurelune an age-restricted or ERP community?
No. Aurelune’s main community is not built around adult content or ERP. Public spaces are expected to remain comfortable and respectful.
06 Does Aurelune run difficult content?
The initial focus is social and casual activity. Members may still organise harder content together, but Aurelune is not launching as a progression or raid-focused FC.
07 When does recruitment open?
The date will be announced once the final preparation work is complete.
08 Can I join the Discord before recruitment opens?
Yes. The Aurelune Discord is open to visitors who would like to follow the launch, read about the community and introduce themselves ahead of recruitment.
